Flood crisis are normal disaster in many parts in Bihar districts, Bihar is the worst affected states in India region. In 2024, the situation in Bihar district is alarming, rising water level in Ganga River and this led to water spread in its territory. Thousand family of Bihar is displaced to live in bandh and high place where water cannot reach. The district is struggling with one the worst flood crisis in recent years.
Flood Crisis District Impacted
Bhojpur district in Bihar is currently facing flood situation due to rising water in Ganga River and its tribute river. Bhojpur is one the 12 districts severely affected by the flood crisis. Flood has affected residents and farmer lands. Bhojpur has 43 Panchayat and all have been severely impacted by the flood crisis and relief camps are underway. Including the deployment of boats and the establishment of relief camps.
Flood Crisis Human impacted
Around 13 lacks people have been affected by the flood crisis as of sept 2024. Increasing the level of Ganga river has affected the most of the district in Bihar like: Bhojpur, Patna, Saran, and others districts. In response to people help. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been inspecting the district and allowing the districts officials to inspect the district and submit the report and arrange the necessary medicine and foods in the affected area and deployment the others necessities.
Bihar Flood crisis in years of 2016, 2021 and 2024
Back to year 2016, Back to back floods are affecting the Bihar district’s Bhojpur and this led to the Farmer crops destroy and their living cattle’s impacted by in terms of monetary and life respectively. Lots of Farmer has lost their living cattle and they are bound to live in Bandh with out any help. They are also not receiving any help from Bihar Government
This will cause they will not even survive in coming month and they will move to other states for earning purpose to protect their family. This is a very terrible situation in Bihar state. State is also not taking any good steps to handle this type of situation. This is also a main reason not to grow Bihar capita per person and even not increasing their financial support.
Flood crisis Year of 2016 to 2024 affected
Flood was most dangerous in year of 2016 and this led to heavily impacted Bhojpur’s district, Farmer crops destroy and their living cattle’s as well. People of Bhojpur districts are getting higher they suddenly again flood in 2021 has been destroy everything of bihar people and now in year of 2024, again Ganga river water lever has been increased in Bhojpur district has been vanished in terms of farmer crops and their living cattle also affected their day-to-day life and earning.

We seek Government helps from chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar to please do survey of Bhojpur district and help their farmer in terms of money and arrange foods who have lost their home and cattle’s to survive until they are able to arrange something for theme self.
